January 12, 20197 yr Hello, Did an update today of X-Plane 11.30. Since then, I have had several crashes to desktop and also had the following happen to my screen. I have the latest nVidia driver installed. January 12, 20197 yr 3jFPS-wizard11.lua is your problem. The author of that tool has warned its users multiple times to update to the latest 3jFPS version before upgrading to 11.30

It was a long process but I feel worth everyone's patience and efforts and I appreciated the tips given during the beta. I rolled back to 11.26 a few times but then rolled forward as reports came in on the release's improvements. One outstanding but says the particle system does not work in a recording playback, but I've seen it work in mine for some reason, and I have a lot of recordings.... Too many really, lol... John

When I disable the Flywithlua plugin, I totally forgot about the individual scripts where you have to separate them manually. Too many really, lol... That's interesting, I will have to keep a look out for that. One thing I want to do is check is the raw performance without the 3jFPS for now and see if its needed. Previously, when using my Thrustmaster Warthog throttle as a helicopter collective with some models, the default curve would reach maximum allowed torque with only a halfway collective pull. The rest of the handle range went into over-torque city. So I had to swap out joystick config files when switching between fixed wing and helos. With curves saved per-aircraft model now, I can set a curve that uses the full throttle/collective range, which allows for more fine control when hovering. I still allow a little over-torque in the range for emergencies (whoops, didn't see that high tension power line!). And it just kicks in automatically when saved for that model. I thought I also heard something about being able to stop the yaw axis from initiating braking force when there are no toe brakes as well, but can't seem to find that in the settings. I'm not seeing how curves are set per aircraft either. It seems they are set per hardware device in general. I must be missing something.
