January 18, 20197 yr I spotted this over at the org just released today... https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/49749-livetraffic/ I own WT3 and fairly happy with it but early reports in the review section appear to indicate this might be better than WT3 as it uses real world live traffic data somehow (whilst using the same freeware Bluebell models that WT3 uses). Before removing my WT3 install, it would be great if someone here wouldn't mind giving this a try and reporting back. On the surface it looks promising. January 18, 20197 yr Already tried it earlier today and could see the traffic. Its a good plugin and has the feature for real world traffic. Seeing it as beta till 16th feb Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
January 18, 20197 yr Thanks for the info. I tried it too and well, it does what it says it does. The only thing i am confused about is whenever the 3d models of planes are also supposed to have the right airline skin or not. Because some did, others did not. January 18, 20197 yr I just skipped through the documentation. If the author can work around the ground behavior limitations in future versions, this could be a real winner. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days

January 19, 20197 yr There seems to be no ground traffic. For me the primary task of a traffic addon is the population of airports. Regards Nils

I get the ground traffic. i presume it uses live data, so that area has no data it might not show traffic, I tried FACT Capetown i got only one AI. For Mumbai i see around 20 boeing or maybe airbuses. If you are seeing on labels than check your CSL folder Edited January 19, 20197 yr by HumptyDumpty Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
January 19, 20197 yr I did test it at EDDF and i got no aircraft parking at gates. There were a few in the air but that´s not really usable for me. Regards Nils
January 19, 20197 yr I do notice parked aircraft with livetraffic maybe some setting? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

It's not supposed to do that. ADS-B coverage on the ground is very limited. This is not an ATC program, this one displays real planes in their phases of flight. Read the offical website, there are lots of explaination on ithttps://twinfan.gitbook.io/livetraffic/introduction/limitations Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
