At least in North America and UK anyway.It usually involves mailing in a piece of the box or manual and you get ~$15-20 back through the mail.I think in the UK when I got FS98, the rebate was 10 GBP.Maybe you should complain to Microsoft Holland division......it's free money after all.

Yes there was a rebate, and I failed to take advantage of it :-(But, who knows? Maybe it will be done again. Doubtful though.

Actually, I remember there having been rebates for FS in the past. I'll be honest I never bothered to mail them for some reason. Anyway, did tdragger say $70.00 for FSX??? I'll gladly pay it! I'll probably take the rebate too if there is one, now that I'm on my own managing my own finances and stuff. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!Jeff

Years ago, I bought FS2000 when the price had dropped to $9.99 at my local Best Buy. After the $10 rebate, and the postage costs, FS2k wound up costing me 83 cents!!! ;)

I already have a rebate. I sold my fs9 on ebay and got a pretty good price too. More than any rebate.
