By deleting then installing using the component installer, does 4.5 delete or otherwise overwrite the formerly "stock" Carenado A36 Bonanza.

That default plane was lost in 4.4 install, so yes it's gone in 4.5

I'm just afraid that "if" I had magically made it "reappear" in 4.4 😎 will 4.5 Content deletion and re-installation re-delete it? I've already done the client and all my other addons. I have backed up the simobjects, gauges and sounds etc for the Bonanza but I'd rather not have to re-add it. Just wondering if anyone knew.

We lost the bonanza! I had not even noticed! Better update my ah2 install to not include it!

I brought the  Baron 58 from v3.4 into v4.4 and it survived a client and content install of v4.5. So the Bonanza should be ok.

Yes, you will have to reinstall the files, but at least, it appears you had the foresight to keep them so that option remains available. I will do the same once I upgrade the client and content to 4.5.

If you've backed up the Beech aircraft files from P3D 4.3 prior installing 4.4 (aircraft, effects, gauges etc...), then copied them back manually into P3D 4.4 from the backup, they won't be uninstalled when uninstalling 4.4 to install 4.5 client because 4.4 uninstaller knows nothing about these files (at least all is fine in our installations).

Thanks Jean-Luc, your support is everywhere! My Bonanza is equipped with dual RXP GNS 430Ws.
