New freeware Albuquerque New Mexico from Simwest!

Featured Replies

Forum member Clutch Cargo released his new ABQ scenery. A lot of us have been waiting a long time for this long overlooked area!

It also includes some really fun easter eggs!

Thank you Clutch! We really appreciate it!

The sparkling view from Sandia Crest.

The new scenery includes excellent night lighting with several options but I added the Taburet night lighting for NM, CO, AZ and UT and it takes the lights all the way to the horizon making Albuquerque truly spectacular at night as it should be.

Anyone who's driven or flown to Albuquerque at night knows what I'm talking about.

Skully, thanks for the pat-on-the-back.  I must say it's so interesting to see how it looks on different simmer's setups.  But that second to last shot... you really captured what I was striving for at night. 😍

Be sure to read the Pilot's Guide and try out the Breaking Bad Easter Egg Hunt.  Fun, challenging way to search the area and you could win our next release which is coming very-very soon. The odds of winning are really good too.  I mean really-really good (hint-hint)

Happy flying,

Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

Wow that looks awesome! Does it include the airport? Or is this just the city and surrounding area?

Just the city and surrounding area.  I understand there is a 3rd-party developer creating the airport as we speak (or I should say type, ha!)

My pleasure clutch and thanks again for the scenery!👍

So who's working on the ABQ Sunport? Do tell!

Talk about one of the most overlooked airports ever. I did request it from Mir at Flightbeam that he consider doing it when I met him at the FSEXpo last year in Las Vegas.

Vey nice looking scenery. Am looking forward to Socal.
