Is oculus telling you to update your USB 3.0 driver?

Featured Replies

The oculus app (I have Rift S) is telling me to update my Intel USB 3.0 driver but its dated June 19th of this year(2019).  Im pretty sure its the latest. its 10.0.18362.207

am I wrong? is there a newer driver?  just curious.  thanks in advance.

it says the newer driver can solve tracking issues which I do have some of.

I have the same thing happening, not sure what its all about, it just seems to stay that way.

I'm waiting for an update but haven't seen anything yet i'm still on Oculus App. version 1.38.

Same here: latest USB driver and Oculus app. When I start the Oculus app, sometimes there is green light, sometimes yellow with this strange USB update info. If you browse through the Oculus forum, you will find that others are seeing the same. Yesterday, I did a wonderful flight from EDDL to LIRF with the PMDG 747 in VR - all working fine here. Just disregard it.

I don't mean to sidetrack this thread (I have the same orange dot re USB update too by the way) but my most pressing immediate issue is that I wear glasses and can't see the guages in the cockpit.  I've tried with glasses and without with essentially the same clarity.  Is there a solution to this?  I simply downloaded the Rift app, went through the setup steps and then started Xplane.  Went through the hanger without problem and then jumped into the 737 for a quick flight.

Download Oculus Traytools and crank up the Default Supersampling up until you are satisfied. For me 1.6 is acceptable.

or use the included Oculus Debug tool you'll find it in your Oculus folder. I disable ASW and set PD to 1.6
