@188AHC, oh I am intimately aware. I  started exploring ways to promote and educate aviation incorporating flight simulation. The more I researched, the more I realize that my own dream of flying professionally that I thought was long gone is very much in reach...even late in my 40s. It is an exciting time for aviation AND simulation. 👍

Built in Air Hauler or similar (FS Economy, Skypark, ProjectFly, A Pilot's Life, FSCaptain).

Te AoA videos were extremely good. I've still them somewhere on a HDD. 

The flight community gathers people with very different motivations. They all togeter shape up into a market. It is because there are  a lot of casual gamers that more hardcore simmers can have a sim in a way. And the other way around. One of the reasons why the distinction between game and sim is so absurd.

 - Fly with Marine 1 from the White House lawn to Edwards AFB in formation with other helicopters like IRL

 - Fly the 747 to La Guardia

 - Fly another Marine 1 from La Guardia to Manhattan heliport

A mission made some years ago

Long ago, I wrote some missions. This one was for Yann Lavigne,Rob Young et al. Falcon 50 . I tried to imitate a Valley Girl pilot. It was early FS9 if I remember well.

So like I'm sittin' in the plane doin' my nails and the dispatcher comes to me. He's such a stud puppie, baby, he's so rad ! Was playin' QB when I was like, ya know, cheerleader in San Berdie High.

"Hey, like, wow, Cind'" (my name is like, ya know, Cinderella, but my friends mostly call me Cind'), people stranded in Skagway with mega Buffitis Vampiritis, man, you gotta bring crates of stakes to the Emergency Unit out there before night falls".

"Oh my gawd ! Gag me with a spoon ! Gag me with a pitchfork ! Gag me with a SPOOOOON! are you flippin' retarded ? who do you think you're talkin' to -- Miss Uninformed? Skagway with a jet ! A narrow fjord a hard turn to the right, like, a hump just before the threshold and a 3750 feet runway. Like, ya know, this is grody to the max! Only a dweeb would land there with a jet..."

In my FS9 Alaska series, another one for floatplane with an heavy load this time. I flew it with the FSD Porter then.

Fly from Valdez to the bottom of Yale Glacier (College Fjord) in order to pick up two scientists (Professor Haagen Dasz and Professor Baskins Robbins of the Yale Institute of Glaciology) and half a ton of their equipment at their old base camp then fly them to their new high altitude camp on Lake George North shore.

Landing with an army helicopter (ideally a Caiman, Lynx, Sea Stallion, Sea King) on a moving fregate in a massive storm with the boat moving a lot. A marshaller would be appreciated 😛

Maybe something real simple like starting in Chicago, flying full IFR to Kathmandu, switching to a smaller aircraft to fly to Lukla, then a rotor blade to the top an Everest.

Hopefully we will have an X-Cub on floats for missions and just flying around. Hope the water physics are nice enough to enjoy flying in float planes 🙂

Wish I ever learned who to program missions. Many years ago I ran a list of tricky airports, back then called Dangerous Airports Database DAD. The site does not exist anymore. But I loved to add some beacons or warning lights to some default airports. Burn I never managed to offer some missions. Some came later with approach missions burn I would love to see some missions in FS2020

So you're willing to pay $100 or equivalent in your currency for the new sim? Far better for that type of thing to be third party as not everyone would be interested.

Personally I would like to see something like an enhanced FSW mission creator tool for us ordinary punters. It wasn't perfect but was far better than the FSX equivalent  tool.

I really liked the FSW mission creator tool, just hope we get one like it or better with a nice graphical user interface. I can hope! And I hope Microsoft makes it ( well the developer working on the sim ) and it comes with the purchase of the sim. Just think, a GUI  tool so we can make endless missions and never be able to fly them all cause there will be so many of them. Fingers crossed. And a Workshop area to upload them and download them within the sim menu's. 🙂

Wasn't there a question on the Alpha sign up form about missions? If I remember correctly there was, which is a good thing! Also, about multiplayer too.

Maybe they want to know if it will be that bad with no missions at all 😉
