Breaking through clouds video?

Featured Replies

HI all

Today new update, I was looking through the old once however, and noticed one thing.

That video released the 29th, where you break through the clouds, a ring effects happens on the wind shield.

is that normal? I mean, I never IRL dove through the clouds like that (obviously :P) but it looks, like a hard edge.

Whata re they trying to simulate here?

Cheers

It was a portal entrance to a fantasy world where die hard "study sim" enthusiasts can fight against waves of dumbass AI enemies using a variety of weapons. A true flight simmer's dream!!

As the others said here above and we have discussed on the other thread, it appears to be reflection effects, not related to clouds or mist.

I youtube'd a few gliding videos and you do indeed get some very odd reflections along the lines of what was shown in the MS vid.

Early reflection techniques being implemented... long way to go.

In my opinion they look pretty good/realistic. I don't think they have to improve it that much...

Agree... look great now, only going to get better.

It is 100% without a doubt the reflection of horizon in the distance and not anything in the cockpit. Pause the vid, examine the reflection then look at the horizon once the plane levels out. Very impressive imo.
