Hi all!Just an open question here..What are you looking forward to most in FSX?I had dreams of a perfect overcast, but that seems like something beyond this life. (Ok I

Going round the world in a little twin, say a Beech or somesuch. With the new options there's gonna be so much more to see, with animals etc. to look down on. Also recently I've been playing 18WOS:Convoy, and hoping to buy the next one Haulin' where you drive across the US. So I'll be hoping to see the roads and towns I went to in that.

Although I already have the beta, I'm seriously looking forward to the multiplayer, especially the co-pilot function.

Im with jboweruk Im really looking forward to the more dynamic world. Moving cars, birds and animals. While I love my airliners Ive really gotten into VFR flying in my Dreamfleet A36 and Baron. As much as I love it in FS9 I cant imagine how great its going to be in FSX especially when we get some great VFR aircraft to tool around in.

I look forward to mayhem in this forum with many post by people dissapointed bij FPS, blurries, lacking ATC, how FS-X performs on their rig, etc.Or should that be I expect. Then in about a year from now we will get new rigs with DX 10 cards and switch to FS-X with the new super add-ons like the whining never happend.:-)

Unfortunately, due to the low volume of sales that will come because of all the people saying that they'll wait until the DX10 update/Vista, etc... MS will shut down ACES and sell the franchise to Austin Meyer, marking the end of the MSFS series. :-sae

I look forward to seeing what third party scenery designers can do with regards to dynamic scenery. Now that we have this kind of scenery, I cant wait to see what other vehicles, airport equipment, ships, animals, people, etc will be implemented. Imagine boats pulling water skiers, better airport vehicles, moving stairs at the airport, trams that actually run on rails around the airport, different types of animals on the runway bush flying like oxes, deer, etc....I can already see it...flight1 presents, "Ultimate World"

I'm looking for better default scenery which, in turn, should lead to much better 3rd party scenery; especially when DX10 plus new hardware is up and running. I agree with an earlier post that it'll be about a year before we can really see what FSX is capable of.Bob

I haven't followed the discussions, haven't downloaded the demo, have no idea when it's coming out, couldn't care less at this point. Looked at some of the screenshots, looked to me like someone was trying to channel Far Cry.Here is what I look forward to:1) Release of flightscenerie's Portland scenery. 2) "Block F" for Captain Sim's 7573) Release of Airsimmer's A 320. All of those are just going to work fine in FS9.ricardo

Stability. Fluidity. 1m ground textures. Improved weather and ATC.Couldn't care less about birds and moving cars. Who really notices them anyway when you're in your "great overcast" ?

Regards,

Max

You should get a procedural IFR trainer for PC! You'd even log simulator time on it! One is called Elite! You won't even have to upgrade your computer! Leave FSX for rest of us who appreciated a great scenery from above!@

Hi, Well i'm looking forward to seeing whether my system will be able to run it ok, i don't have a mega system but it runs F9 ok. I have 2.5 cpu/1g ram and a nVidia 5700 Graphics card , it will be interesting to see how it performs on peoples systems. Cheers.

....the other day sitting safety pilot for a friend.Birds! Yes-I see them all the time along with cars-kind of try to avoid hitting both... Actually get cautions for bird flocks on atis at my local airports-when will fs model this? :-)http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg(little black spot in first shot upper left side-getting increasingly closer as we continue towards the runway.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/156859.jpgFlock getting bigger as getting nearer the runway.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/156860.jpgGoing ifr between layers-and-birds!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/156861.jpg

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

Hope you never hit one! I did after take off in a light single a few years back. It was a seagull but they really do stink when they come through the front of the engine! and I mean stink!!!!! Went right into the engine cowling.

How great to look forward to seeing autoo traffic moving over no longer "fake" bridges by the help of 3rd party developers, though bridges like the Golden gate bridge in SF in FSX default.Am looking forward to the Vista and DX10 and all the awesome addons yet to come and beautify FSX perhaps 100% better than the default.
