Alpha forever soon™?

Recommended Posts

It's kinda funny. MS and Asobo have been working 5 years on the new sim, before we even knew about it, but now people keep asking almost everyday, when can we get our hands on it. It's fantastic that we're having a new sim, but somehow I wish they hadn't released any info on it to short before final release. And we wouldn't have all the same questions everyday about PC specs, Internet speed, price, availabilty etc.etc. even though NO ONE (except MS & Asobo) knows the answers to.

Don't get me wrong, I'm just as excited as everyone else, but let's just be patient and know we'll get it when it's good and ready.

The team wanted to know what we needed. There are certainly some things that would be missing without the communication now and many were disappointed again

And they are starting the recruitment of Alpha 2 before releasing Alpha 1 😄

I didn't get selected but I do feel for those who did. The wait must be killing you lot.

The definition of altruism.😇

Personally I would of liked a little information on the delays, I assume it is compatibility though since they have had working versions demoed already which were said to be similar to the alpha build.

I'm sure they are frustrated about it just as testers are excited and eagerly awaiting news it has finally dropped.

Perhaps they were a little over optimistic with the initial timelines since a month delay is nothing in software development.

I'm sure testers would rather receive a build they could actually test rather than a buggy blue-screen mess they spent time to download and install just for the sake of punctuality.

Delays happen with complex flight simulations like this, we just have to accept that sometimes things take a little longer than initially hoped/promised.

Not going to happen.

Once we’ve cleared test, we will begin prepping for build access and you will receive an email update with our release date.

No update with release date, so ...
