November 28, 20196 yr MS has signed a partnership with Daher for the TBM. An information I missed is that Daher has acquired the Idaho-based Quest in 2019, the guys who make the Kodiak. Just sayin'... As a frequent flyer in PNG, I'd welcome the Kodiak flown by the MAF pilots though. But to see the 208 back to our sim is also very much welcome. November 28, 20196 yr I do hope planes like the Kodiak, Do 228 or Twotter etc will all be offered again in the not too distant future as add-ons Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

November 30, 20196 yr We know that it is the long Grand Caravan, most likely the EX. Edited November 30, 20196 yr by FDEdev
November 30, 20196 yr Anyone had heard of a Garmin partnership ? Would love to have replica of some of their avionics (G3000, GTS, GTN...). So far, screen shots show looks-like display interface. It's not the XCub, it's the Piper J3 Cub (seen below in some global preview event footage from a couple months ago). Really awesome that they appear to have more than one generation of Cub. I wonder what other aircraft we don't know about yet... Also looks like we're getting a 172 with analog gauges and a GPS! Brandon Filer

Seems pretty much confirmed that the MSFS team will announce Garmin as an official partner to Microsoft Flight Simulator because as we see in the following screenshot, they use the "Garmin" name in the cockpit and also they mention the "G1000" specifically in the March 19th 2020 Development Update. Microsoft's legal team would not permit the MSFS team to use the "Garmin" and "G1000" trademarks without a partnership. Edited April 3, 20206 yr by elmar01
April 3, 20206 yr I hope some of the higher end providers like Tourqesim and Take Command are already making their new planes compatible. I'm sure quite a few of them are already feeling the loss of sales from people who are waiting to see if MSFS will take over the market. Both have nice new corporate jets that have been delayed. I'd hate to pay for expensive add-ons for X-Plane or P3D today if in a few months I'll never fly them again.
