Actually he is very smart. He achieves to get reactions by so many users here again and again filling pages over pages with totally useless trash. He must have a great time trolling on Avsim because users here still can't contain themselves and just ignore him.

I assume he's referring to Xbox Scarlett, which is the current codename for the next-generation Xbox replacing the Xbox One in holiday 2020 (when the PlayStation 5 is also replacing the PlayStation 4).

Though there's less than zero evidence that there's any plan to make MSFS exclusive to that console - and in fact it would run contrary to several new initiatives Microsoft have explicitly started in the last few years (such as releasing all of their first party stuff on console and PC), not to mention repeated statements from Microsoft and Asobo for months.

But when you hate Microsoft as much as he does, anything becomes plausible.

Now what I did was , I clicked on the Xbox Profile under the login name and it worked and it took me to the Xbox live huh .

 

Found it , didn't see the menu Tech Alpha.

have you read interview ? no or you not believe but, ASOBO boss say this game run perfectly with a 1060 in HD. Like many AAA game, if you want 4K native you need a BIG pc, and HD, you need a middle.
and same for xplane, in 4K with all addon, you need a BIG machine.

and finally, this game is planned to last 10 years, already it will be released in 1 year, and for those who want to play in 4K without spending too much, well it buys its graphics card (rtx2080ti) in 1 year. because as every time when nvidia releases a new generation, the price of the old generation is falling.

Chiming in... Didn't want to, but what the heck, doing it anyway.

Something more personal: During my studies and during the PhD thesis, my colleagues and I visited our annual, national physics conference with lots of lectures and seminars about the whole spectrum of physics. What does this have to do with anything being "discussed" here and in other threads and other forums...?

Well, those conferences always left space for... well, "alternative approaches", where self-appointed "scientists" got a forum to publish and to discuss their research (no quotes around this word, seriously!). One real example is someone who wanted to explain anti-gravity with some weird (although quite simple) formulas and a vacuum cleaner. Yeah... And a couple of more people with similar approaches to the world.

And yes, many of us visited those sessions--but not to make fun of them (also it was sometimes really difficult to suppress the laughter) but to listen. By asking very basic questions about nature, it became clear that they didn't even know the very basic principles, even though they used big words in their lectures.

So, bottom line: This should also be a forum for trolls, but it is the wrong approach to feed them, even by telling them how weird they are. Don't enable them, just smile and wave...

Back to the topic of this thread: I'm happy that the Alpha phase is about to start soon; I mean, there's Christmas coming up and we could all hope for a brand new Xbox under the tree, right--because, you know, FS2020 will first hit this platform, right (wow, now I'm doing the feeding... 😄)?! But with the right feedback by the testers, it might become a very promising platform other platforms can be measured against.

I should have added to work perfectly in HD on a 1060 with all the details, because it's in HD but not in 4K... (but why read interview... ...you already know more than anyone else)

Just said that that I don't believe that footage is technically possible doing a complete simulation on anything less than a Pascal Architecture card (probably even Turing), and comparing it with an obsolete build of a graphics engine that was never built to leverage even Pascal features (which even then can still hold up ok) is ridiculous and fanatical.

On this site, https://www.xbox.com/en-US/project-scarlett you can read all about the new Xbox  NOTE THE OFFICIAL NAME, & it's called SCARLET!

As you have word not allowedized the official naming of Microsoft's products, XBOX2020,  FS20 et al, you will now be recognised & known as DAMPSQUID2019, or mS37 (no. of posts so far)

No, thats a codename like XBOX one was project Anaconda.

Dampsquid2019, the Codename Anaconda will be the equivalent of the current Xbox One X, with improved hardware and processors / graphics from AMD. Anaconda may also include SSD storage to reduce game load times. ..

Xbox Project Scarlett is the current name for Microsoft's now officially announced next-generation console, & could possibly be called Xbox Two or Xbox 2, most certainly NOT XBOX2020
