In my opinion PTA has more user-friendly interface and of course all credits go the original PTA designer Yuriy. I still don't understand why Yuriy dropped the project. With the updated version of ENVShade you can tweak a bunch of settings. I left them all at default to see what kind of baseline I would have to work from. Turns out I have kept all of the default settings as I like the look a lot and had a realistic flavor to it. Granted, ones monitor settings may be different and thus some tweaking may need to be done. To tweak, it's all sliders, so no hard formulas like PTA. Set up a short cut key to reload shader's while the sim is still running (possible now with latest P3D version) via the control key settings. Then it's just a matter of moving a slider a little bit, reload shader's and view what you did. Makes tweaking much easier. Make sure to read the ENVShade install manual. Eric

December 13, 20196 yr I think we have been more than supportive with Matt. I have referred PTA at will despite knowing that any glitch in the server will produce a useless add-on. W hen are some add-on devs going to learn to treat customers as if they matter? MSFS
