January 2, 20206 yr I've been so dumbfounded at what Asobo has done in development. And honestly can't wait. There is one thing I so desperately need and want. Please oh please add marshallers at GA parking. Edited January 2, 20206 yr by Casualcas
January 2, 20206 yr I would like to see and know more about all things “airport environment” related actually. Good thread topic. Nothing could add “more” than adding “action and stuff happening” at all airports (where appropriate) and certainly way beyond the main huge airports. I’m probably in the minority, but I fly nearly exclusively GA in real life and when simming. I want to see some appropriate “GA activity” at small fields. I trust they are going to do something around this, as they’ve blown away my every expectation thus far. Edited January 2, 20206 yr by irrics
January 2, 20206 yr At least since yesterday I have a feeling, their "airports" discovery series episode in February will leave us dumbfdounded again...

Me too - I’m putting on an extra pair of socks for that....because I think they’ll blow our socks off. Lol. (Daily Dad joke)
January 2, 20206 yr Author Oh lord , we've stooped to dad jokes. Airports are so much more than traffic, whether MS, does it, or third party. Liven it up with humans, nothing turns me off more than a fuel truck driven by nobody. Find a open random open parking spot at give me a human flagging me in.

We need animated humans working at the apron, moving vehicles and all kinds of clutter all around the default airports, maybe some animals around smaller airfields. I am confident Asobo will be able to create some algorithm that puts these things at plausible locations at default airports worldwide. At least I want to believe... 😏 Edited January 2, 20206 yr by RALF9636
January 2, 20206 yr I'm hoping that there will be an end to runways just plonked in the sea that are prevalent in P3D such as at NTGT, NTKT, NGTU, AGGQ, NCMK etc... such an immersion-killer 😞 May all your landings be safe ones! Hugh Costello - NZWN
January 2, 20206 yr I would like to see vehicles with a purpose, I mean, not only driving around. Emergency vehicles when you made an emergency landing, snow plows when it’s snowing, follow me guiding or making runway inspection, etc. God, even if the sim could read some airport information and know which runways are closed and under repair, some maintenance vehicles and closed runway signals over there. (I think I have too high hopes on Azure 😂)
January 2, 20206 yr Author Or even that "sleeping bear" people keep talking about laying on the runway. Lol
January 2, 20206 yr I was just trying to search for any sneak peak footage or screenshots of what huge airports and their scenery look like but came up with nothing. I'm still searching but if anyone has links or knows of any large airports, do share. Thanks.
January 2, 20206 yr I have a feeling that Airports are probably one of the last things they're working on, since they keep avoiding them in videos and screenshots.
January 2, 20206 yr Author And not just at jetways. At least GA parking as well. It's always the forgotten land. Hopefully we get a peek at this soon.

We've seen glimpses of KLAX and KSFO in their earlier videos, but obviously pretty much work in progress (no taxi lines / ground markings on the apron).

January 2, 20206 yr Oh right, how could I forget LAX. We've also seen the Paine field a lot, though that's not a passenger airport. Edited January 2, 20206 yr by Tuskin38
