I always change flood lights for 777 and 747 for "warm LED type", setting those for 255,255,220.

Not a fan of those original orangy floods

Thanks David,

I am not a big user of spotlight (only default with FSLA32X)

Could you make a short video and put it on youtube ?

Thanks for your hard work to the community David

OK guys I think you both want a guild to install and use. Its all there in the link but never mind, keep reading.

First Download FSL Spotlights if you don't already have it.

https://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/files/file/849-fslspotlights-for-p3dv4/

Just install like any other program.

First follow link to mod https://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/topic/23557-pmdg-737-800ngxu-bw-mcp-light-mod-big-update-now-done-fully-15th-jan-2020/

and download the file and place that file in

P3D 4.5>SimObjects>Airplanes>PMDG 737-800NGXu BW.

You will see within P3D in the bottom left corner of your screen a very small arrow in a box, please note this does not show if you take screenshots.

FSL.jpg

When you load the 800 within the sim, click on the arrow. You will now see the control panel. (In the new NGXu you will only see 1 light not lots like this below for the old NG)

FSL-panel.jpg

Re size the window with the arrows in the corners, I normally just use the bottom right one to resize.

As you can see in the first screenshot above you just click on the "Active" below the title for the light you wish to use.

Tip# When you open it you cannot see the controls to darken or brighten the lights. Look for the little white line I've marked with the red arrow(picture one), mouse over it and drag it left to look like the second image.

Now when you mouse over the "brightness line you can see (picture 3) a "-" "+" and a "DOT"(DOT is far right) the number on the brightness line is the amount it's set to (0-100) You can click the "-" or "+" to change the level or.........mouse over the "DOT" hold down your left mouse button and you can drag a red line out. Now you can "drag" the brightness by moving your mouse. the two grey lines you see are the range you can use (0-100).

This new light MOD looks nice at around 0-40 at night time but use as you wish.

Hope that helped guys?

I think we better look at Done lighting. Most people will not be bothered but take a look.
Default

dome-1.jpg

The more I look at this the more I see wrong. The light from that light source is wrong.

The light from this done light is casting light onto the breakers/fusers than should and would only come from the green line below Direction. Above that area, it's dark????
Looks wrong.

dome-wrong.jpg

Now this is a beta and just started work on it but here you can see the breakers/fusers only just catching the light as I think it should be.
Sadly I cannot make a white done light. Only the light as a source. But here is the result so far.

Tell me what you think.

This Dome lighting is driving me crazy. But I think I've figured out what PMDG have done. When you turn ON Dome lights, your not, your turning on other lights even if they don't show and even have there own switch in the case of the breakers/fusers.
The light on the breakers/fusers is coming from....the overhead breakers/fusers light, that's not even turned on. Now the lighting of that area makes sense but is totally wrong.
So I am going to make Dome lighting that's just Dome lighting. It should change totally the atmosphere/mood in the VC as the light we only come from the 2 sources it should come from.
No Other lighting that should not be there will be. The downside it will not have 2 setting like DIM bright but then you will gain full atmosphere/mood
