Nice!

I'm just flabbergasted!  I have been for the last half hour since posting these shots...testing for 'repeat ability' of ANY of the elements going into the production of each flight path mile.  None!   I mean, this is for real!  You can actually plan a VFR or...IFR flight over at least Portugal (I haven't left the country yet...) and see exactly what you should see in real life.  Towns, cities, villas, exact roadway through them....I mean, I have just been slack jawed, that this is REALLY what's there...OSM data galore!  This absolutely rivals Orbx's TE series.  If the viewer gets all the programs and files that are happening here...I assure you...nobody will be disappointed, only for not having enough time perhaps to take a cross country trip to their liking.   No repeats...EVERYTHING is 'new' to the eye.  Yes, I have the actual Ortho for the entire country at z17,...but to have such incredible 3D added on top of it populated by SFD and Europe v4.0,...well....what more can I say?  Not much..LOL!

Back to hugging the coast...and enjoying all the maritime installations....marinas...harbors...and ships out upon the water (all animated...commercial, military, private).

Heading on 025 northeast on the coast of Portugal...

Northern Portugal,  mountain ranges, pretty diverse topography!  I'm at around 8,000 ASL here...

Great shots! What are you using for the night lights? Happy continuation of your trip.

Here you go:

I installed each and every one...will blow your mind, on each early morning, dusk, and full night approach, take-off, and cruise...!

Thank you. I tried them before but thought they were a bit too bright. Maybe because I also had a custom lights.txt working with it. Will try again with the standard lights.txt.

You're welcome,  I am running the default light.txt, so you should see pretty much what is represented here. I finally ended my Portugal sojourns, after my eyeballs, were turning inward, lol!   To be continued tonight, within Germany!

Great shots! It does look fantastic!

Probably best looking Portugal I have ever seen on any sim!

That "skyscrapper" on the first shot of the second post seems...a bit out of place though! 😉

I thought that might be an OSM 'glitch' misplacement.  That is the only one, I had seen in hundreds of square miles of touring this morning.  Top floor would make for a great view, though! LOL

Very nice indeed.
Just so you know HD Mesh is being ignored if you have ortho imagery above it.

To avoid that pattern in the trees and have a more realistic forest coverage I recommend Global Forests Europe.

Actually, I did have the HD 4.0 at the zzz(very bottom) of my ini file, and all my Ortho4XP entries above it.  I'll look at Global Forests Europe..but,  there is both forests in play, from simHeaven Europe 4.1 and SFD.  Which one would dominance?
