February 24, 20206 yr Hey, Maybe some of you could help, First time I installed the turbine duke everything was fine, recently I had to reinstall it for a gps problem, but no when in outside view, a big part of the aircraft is invisible, tried to delete the shaders folder but nothing change. Any clue ? Thanks Edited February 24, 20206 yr by dyl55
February 24, 20206 yr Which sim? This is often caused by running out of resources on a 32-bit sim. February 24, 20206 yr Author P3d v4,5 Never had this problem before reinstall, and everything else working great
February 24, 20206 yr Looks like you're viewing the VC model from outside, not got the Duke installed to test it though. Do you get the same trying other external views ? G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
February 24, 20206 yr Author Yes I got this with all outside view, don't know what's went wrong during the reinstall
February 24, 20206 yr Have you tried the usual suspects? Making sure you're install as admin, disabling anti virus (do people still have those?), rebooting the PC? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
February 25, 20206 yr I'm assuming you've installed this into P3D v4? (Did you use Sean's installer made for this?) That livery doesn't look like one of the stock ones...is it possible that's an earlier version livery? Rob
February 25, 20206 yr Author Yes tried all of this, it must be a missing folder or what because I've used the same installer that I used first time, and this problem happens with all of turbine duke livery, (don't have this problem with piston duke) I pick the installer that is on the realair website (those are now free to use)

February 25, 20206 yr Never installed this back to my new P3DV4.5 installation last year. Downloaded the installer from here http://www.realairsimulations.net/ Works perfectly fine. Allowed it to install to my addons folder as the installer suggested. I am going to de/re install see if installing to my SimObjects folder affects anything.

I'll try to de install and re install again
February 25, 20206 yr This is from now. You will see that unless you purchased the aircraft, you are in breach of the EULA
February 25, 20206 yr Author well so why drop the link to installer for free (and for all their aircrafts) and remove the part where you have to register (I bought the piston duke years ago, and you needed to put the key) ? This is stupid. I think they simply did not update there license as they don't care anymore Even If I had bought the turbine duke when It was available there is nothing in the new installer to prove that, except that we have to put name and email Edited February 25, 20206 yr by dyl55

This is stupid. They clearly write in bold letters that this is not freeware. Just because you don't need to enter your registration data doesn't magically make it freeware. That's politely put, wishful thinking.
