I have already signed up for the alpha insider program last time, but I just heard that from now until Sunday if you update your dxdiag info, you will be registered into the next wave of invites. I'm confused on what I should do, since I have already done this already and still haven't gotten any emails regarding access to the alpha build yet. I'm afraid if I re-update dxdiag that I might further miss my opportunity and possibly push me down the list.

This is for people to update their DXDIAG if their system has changed since the last time they uploaded it.

It won't change where you are on the 'list'.

And no one gets a confirmation E-Mail for applying to the Insider Program, you only get an E-Mail when you're accepted into it (or when they accidentally send out a Poll to non-Alpha players like they did last week lmao)

There's still a lot of day 1 registered with high end pc's who are not in so... I registered a few months ago and I'm not too hopeful either 😁

Well but there must be a reason that they allowed new people to register this weekend 🙂. Maybe something's coming.

I did it. But because I updated win version from 1903 to 1909. Anyways, if they want to prioritize earlier signers, why they open registrations again? 🤔

They let more people in every time before they select a batch. At this rate even if they double the number of Alpha Testers there is still going to be well over 50,000 disappointed insiders. (Based on the number of insiders a few months ago.) You have less than a 5% chance of getting in and (based on reported systems specs of people accepted) if you are not running the latest hardware with at least 8 physical cores, 32GB RAM, and 8GB VRAM then your chances are even lower.

Depends on the survey too, doesn't it? I think that I filled some interesting stuff that could come handy for Microsoft (like using Track IR).

Would you think that i7-8700K, 16 GB RAM and 1080 Ti could possibly quality? 😄

Only if they are specifically testing TrackIR, which considering it is a niche' product, makes me doubt it puts you ahead of the line. You would probably be better off having an XBox controller.

If you go buy the insider forum no one registered before Dec 19 which is wrong, and people that registered Feb are in the Alpha tester so you can make of that what you want, so you could register this week and get strait in MS know what they are doing.
