June 7, 20205 yr For those interested in having GSX2 configuration files -a lot- for payware airports: https://secure.simmarket.com/javier-iturralde-lind-cartayna-files-gsx-level-2-configurations.phtml Thanks to SimMarket in the developer for making this possible. June 7, 20205 yr Thanks for the heads-up, Ed.Just getting them now. Have several FSDG airports, and for some reason GSX will not operate the moving jetways. Hopefully, these cfg files will address those issues. Rick Almeida

June 10, 20205 yr I downloaded and....... mixed results. Firstly, the author is not a native English speaker. The instructions are far from clear in many instances. Having tried CYVR, the actual Jetways and ground markings look extremely good. However, the instructions clearly state that the Gates will be re-labelled from Ramp 21 - GA, to Gate 21- small (etc.) This has not happened and there are no instructions on how to resolve it. My next one was EDDF. Again, instructions not crystal clear. Now GSX says no Jetway, when there clearly are. A lot of hard work from the author but spoiled by poor instructions. Also with the revisited AFCAD he has for EDDF: now AI will sink in the elevated connection taxiways. An appreciated freeware package but there is still much to do. June 10, 20205 yr I used the newark/DCA/St.Maarten ones. Pretty nice. I went with the glass jetways even though that's not realistic for these airports. Looks nice. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

I struggle to understand the negativity on here. This guy has been producing these GSX configs and making them freely available for over a year on the FSDT forums. Now he puts it out so even more people can get them and he cops criticism. Yep, he's not a native English speaker but he's done many hours and hours of work and made it available for free. I've used heaps of his configs without issue and can always figure out what needs to be done via the instructions. It's not a payware package. It's free. He's under no obligations to provide any instructions. Now, what exactly are you providing to the community for nothing (other than an opinion)? I only pointed out that this AFCAD he provides is not compatible with V5. Whats wrong with that? Did you read the last sentence i wrote? June 10, 20205 yr I also said "a lot of hard work". When you shift up a gear, you have to up your game. He could have got someone to help make the instructions a bit clearer. That's all.
