July 13, 20205 yr So in the given ideal specs chart for Microsoft Flight Sim 2020, It mentions RTX 2080 GeForce card. My question is which RTX 2080 card should I choose as even among 2080 series Geforce have different card models with huge price difference. Geforce 2080 ti is double the price of 2080 extreme or 2080 simple. Please guide as Ti is very expensive?? Thanking in Advance
July 14, 20205 yr Since you are in the VR sub, i would go for the fastest card you can get for your money, FS2020 still dont have VR, so we dont know how it will run in the end, but from my own experience i can say that my rtx 2080 ti was the right step, i run a lot of VR appz and VR games and even my GPU is reaching its limits sometimes. You should mybe wait a little bit until the new 3000 series starts, maybe the price of the 2080 TI's will go down a bit. (Dont forget, this is just my own experience and not a buy recommendation)
July 14, 20205 yr Author Agreed but 2080ti is 1500 usd and 2080 extreme or game pro is 700 usd .. thats double the difference
July 14, 20205 yr Bear in mind that if you stick ti on the end of anything you will at least be able to hold your head up in the men's changing rooms. 😉 The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

But still have my 980TI in a box. Will that allow me to hold my head up? Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
July 15, 20205 yr Guess not. Having one 2/3 of SOMETHING AND ADDITIONALLY 1/3 of SOMETHING at the same time is much much weirder and far less impressive than having a whole full size thing 😉
July 17, 20205 yr 2080 is like a Porsche 911. 2080Ti is like a Porsche 911 Turbo......... And you know which one is faster 🙂
July 17, 20205 yr Author So I understand its very obvious that 2080ti is better but if i cant afford it and go for 2080 super or game x, will flight sim 20 still work at its best or its not worth it. I Should wait few months to get money and buy ti only ?

July 17, 20205 yr Author Thabks craige but i think i will buy 2080 super . Heard for flight sim 2020 its not much difference thn TI and super will work fine ?
July 18, 20205 yr 2080 Super is a very good card, just Google 3080 - will most likely match my 2080Ti - & time will tell.

There is a difference, and it’s memory. The more you can get the better. Especially if, as they say they will, and they switch things to DX12.

July 20, 20205 yr I guess it depends on how you define "quick". The Turbo S is 0-60 mph in 2.7 sec. with a top speed of 205 mph. A normally-aspirated Speedster is 0-60 mph in 3.8 sec. with a top speed of 192 mph. That's not quite "twice as quick". Put a rookie in the Turbo, me in the Speedster, throw in a couple of tight right-handers and I'll show the Turbo the real meaning of quick......Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
