July 28, 20205 yr I think you may be a little optimistic by planning this for the 19th. 😄 But hey, I'm interested in seeing what happens. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
July 28, 20205 yr Probably better - as Hook says - to leave it a couple of weeks - let us all get up to speed on the new sim. Let's make a date for maybe September 18th. Gives us all a month to get with it. Gives me an outside chance to port this over and turn up pulling VTOLs - who knows. . .
July 28, 20205 yr This would be fun to participate in, if ya'll have room let me know! Instead of using vatsim, you could start a discord server and when the time comes, let everyone join a voice chat, just for communication. You say your call sign (like N571NA) before stating your message, like atc except it would just be for communication and organization. You would say your registration so everyone would at least know the pilot of what aircraft is talking (since in multiplayer the registration is displayed over the aircraft).
July 29, 20205 yr Author Thanks so much for all the interest everyone! How about 5th September? Will amend orginal topic if I can. Flying since the early days of 386’s! 😀 Web developer, sailor, nerd. July 29, 20205 yr 5th is a Saturday which I think will be a much better date than mid-week. As much as I want to, I won't be taking vacation to fly the new sim (though I probably should - Covid has kept me from taking any other vacation lately so I have plenty). I'll bookmark this thread to keep tabs on it and will do my best to show up to whatever ends up being planned. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
July 29, 20205 yr Hummm.....I think of Bordeaux as a delicious wine, not a location of a development studio. Darryl
