I've been watching so many videos now from the Beta, I'm starting to worry that it's going to take some of the luster off the unboxing of the sim on the 18th. Maybe the videos should all include a spoiler alert, when they show something good.

For a second I was thinking the same, but no. I am going to be like a child at christmas come the 18th! 🙂

I was reassuring myself since Day 1 that even if I think I have seen everything, all the scenery and aircraft, it will still be fun when I get it to just sit somewhere and play with the weather and environment settings. This morning there was a video for that. Sheesh.

The biggest excitement on releaseday will be to find out how the performance will be on everybodys system. When the first shock settles, flying will start. :P

Im so looking forward to exploration. So, because the earth is so big, it doesn't really matter that we get some "spoilers" - there is still SO much more to see. 

lotsa places the vids dont show, like dark africa, brasil jungle etc etc

mainly the vids give me ideas where to fly also.

Actually, thanks to some of those videos I am now even able to start free roaming and exploring almost right away as most airports/locations which were on my day one list have now been covered. Seems, everybody needs to show footage of Innsbruck, New York, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angelos for example...  Well, there is now enough footage, so these areas will surely come, but later. 

 

I would say the videos have given me more ideas than anything else.  I was happy just to do my world tour wherever FSE takes me.  Every day I do think maybe I should stop watching viseos but more because I cant to use the sim myself.. 

 

But so far, the videos are just getting me more excited

I don't know, maybe it's best to just assume that people make and upload videos because they contain something good. Unless the video title or description explicitly states that the video doesn't have any good stuff of any kind.

Come to think of it, it would actually be pretty helpful if YouTube content creators would sometimes tag their videos with "No good stuff in this video at all"

I am almost certain that what you will see on release day will be far superior to what anyone is using at the moment.

I think they'll be grinding until release day and we'll see a big patch as our first task in the new sim. Things are going to change. But not all issues will get fixed right away.

Here's how amazing FS2020 is. Last night I flew from Baku to Almaty and spent the entire time looking out the window at the amazing landscape below. It was mind blowing to see how much detail there was in a region of the world I would have never flown in FSX/P3D. I try my best to explore places I would have never flown in FSX/P3D so I can view the amazing scenery.
