What dlc would you like to see first?

Featured Replies

First up, I would like to see some liveries for the jetliners, and perhaps some for the GA aircraft as well. Maybe there'll be some on release...we'll see.

May all your landings be safe ones!

I guess this is just rumors, but he writes it like it is a fact: (Bold font added by me)

Microsoft Flight Simulator will also introduce paid DLC every "two to three months," set to add new flagship features outside of the free updates and content refreshes. Those milestones will delve into new facets of simulation, beyond its initial focuses for launch content.

The first DLC for Microsoft Flight Simulator plans to introduce helicopters, expanding its simulation with a new class of transport. The team has explored helicopter models, set to provide a framework for the vastly different systems and aerodynamics, over the existing plane roster. It expects the paid DLC to include a selection of helicopters, helipads, playable missions, and other luxuries beyond the raw implementation.

Looks like we might need a robust replay and camera system (with flyby view) so we'll be able to watch and learn from our landings. From other posts on this subject it sounds like MS may have left out both of these things and it's not something I'm really willing to wait 3-4 months for them to implement so yea, I'd say 3rd party and cough up more money again.

I think the first thing they should focus on is reaching feature parity with Flight Simulator X, which means introducing helicopters, gliders and missions (expanded flight lessons would be a good addition as well). Then VR because it is very important to lots of people. More liveries for all types of aircraft would be nice too.

VR will be first, followed some months later by a paid Helicopter DLC...

Asobo must be reading my mind! 🙂

I'd like to see a collection of seaplanes in the not too distant future as well.
