I've seen some strange things happen with these devices RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
September 19, 20205 yr I am stumped maybe someone here can help me. Dug my controllers out from the closet finally and mapped it all in MSFS no issues with that but when I load up into the flight NOTHING works, no throttles, no flight controls, no mouse. Just my keyboard and the yoke buttons. I did double check to make sure I mapped the axis and not the button commands for the flight controls but its weird I cannot even get my axis to work or mouse to work at all. SOLVED Sort of: I unplugged my Logitech Radio Panel and that seemed to solve that issue. No idea why that happens but there you go..so in case if this comes up in the future. September 30, 20205 yr About CH PRO pedals, maybe solved issue of rudder. At first i tried set axis with rudder left and right, and was a disaster, even with setting sensitivity in all mode. Aircraft was abosolutely ungovernable. Then i try to set axis of pro pedals only with "rudder axis" in the menu flight surface, and now all work fine, also with set of sensivity. Now i can steering fine and accurately aircraft on ground and naturally also during flight.🙂👋

Lo and behold, a half hour later I get a phone call and it's the tech support lead for CH Products. Without going into every detail of what we did, basically the old CH software configuration program was what was screwing me up. He definitively told me no one running Windows 10 should be installing or trying to use that program. Once we got that uninstalled and then went through the entire Windows 10 calibration process (settings, search for USB on the top of the screen) for the Eclipse, everything regarding mapping for the controller worked perfectly. This dude (John) went above and beyond normal support, spending the next hour or so walking me through the entire process of getting most required things mapped in MSFS 2020. I told him I don't know how to fly and just bought MSFS to hobby around a bit. At the end of our call, he said there's a lot of rumors on the web about Microsoft trying to squeeze them out, etc. NOT TRUE. What happened is that CH asked for a beta copy of the MSFS too late to develop the profiles for Microsoft to put into the program initially. He confirmed (not hearsay) that they are working with Microsoft now and that an update soon (no date given) will include profiles and controller pictures for all of the CH products in MSFS. A looooong time ago (the 90's) I had a complete CH Setup. After a couple months I had some issues with the joystick's axis not working properly. I lived about 30mins from the CH headquarters (and factory it turned out) in So Cal, so I naively took my stick and drove there, thinking they would help me. And they did! The receptionist made a call and some guy came out and talked to me for a few, took my stick back and plugged it in and saw my problem. Went and got me a brand new one off the floor, made sure it worked and handed it to me and wished me well.

The latest update to 1.9.3 now includes the CH Eclipse Yoke profile presets. It is listed in the release notes. Was utterly shocked but kudos to them. Now just need to get the word not allowed pedals working... SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

FS2020 finds it but does not know what to do with it? I assume I have to manually map it which is probably a tricky thing to do? Problem is my old computer is not stable enough to even run FS2020. I had it running this morning but now it just crashes after the "Press Any Key" screen. Luckily I got WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor) for a new PC since mine is 8 years old and not worth upgrading. I could throw new and more memory and a new video card but then the power supply will be an issue and the hard drives might have seen better days! I always tell my friends about my worry that I die and wife would sell my flight sim for what I told her it cost me to put together. Z747pilot
