I have a feeling that this is the wrong file. We need to keep on top of them until they update the file and issue a guide. It looks like the company has good intentions. October 12, 20205 yr I finally got this response today: "Hello Jose Yes, we are working on it. Regarding the drivers for FS2020. Some modules will work and some will not. We do not have a list of what will work. Some modules only some of the functions will work. It was an email back from the company developing TFDi Design. They are developing our new GF-Conf software. One of there responses was. Regarding FS 2020, unfortunately, our hands are tied. The SDK in 2020 simply does not provide the level of control or access required at this time. We could map, at best, some of the default variables/functions from an external application, but that it is it. I'd be extremely hesitant to begin it now. So this left me with more questions. So I am going to contact Microsoft to see what they say. After what our software developer has said and rumors from other companies and people. I am only left with the conclusion that FS 2020 SDK is still lacking in development. I say that now, but I really want to hear what Microsoft has to say. At this point all we can do is try working with our developer and Microsoft to resolve some of these issues. I know this does not help right now, but we feel your frustration. October 12, 20205 yr Reading that email, my reaction is that GoFlight needs to get their act together and support their hardware. Some of the modules will work, but they don’t have a list of which ones? Seriously? Go test them and make a list, that is not hard. Blaming the SDK for their inability to support default aircraft? Funny how Steve over at Pollypot was able to get his software up and running shortly after the release of MSFS with more functionality being added all the time. My MCP PRO works perfectly fine using the GFIT. Safe to say his hands are not “tied”, so why on earth would the developer working directly for the company’s hands be tied? October 12, 20205 yr I run my GF-MCP PRO via SPAD.neXt and have all functionality mapped in the CJ4 (only jet i use right now). I created the profile myself tho. List of working stuff: IAS/MACH, HDG, ALT, VS, LVL CHG, HDG SEL, APP, ALT HLD, V/S, V/S, DN/UP, L NAV, A CMD, DISENGAGE, F/D

I wonder how I was able to map my GF-MCP with FSUIPC7, if the SDK is so limited? Somehow John and Pete figured it out. JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer. October 12, 20205 yr Moderator One of the reasons I didn’t buy MFS was the lack of a driver for the seven GF modules I own. For reasons known only to GoFlight they don’t seem to have been involved in the alpha or beta phases. I can perfectly understand their reluctance to release a beta driver that will probably break on the next MFS update. What they and all developers need is a working SDK and that still seems a long way off. Steve at Pollypot has worked wonders but he also has a disclaimer on his site stating his drivers may not work after MFS updates. Pete and John Dowson are also working with the same limitations which is why FSUIPC7 is still freeware. It must be exasperating trying to support software with an incomplete SDK. So whilst it must be very frustrating for all of you it really boils down to Microsoft and Asobo and when they can produce an SDK that can be used with confidence. Ray (Cheshire, England).
