August 20, 20205 yr The more time I play around with the Sim the more positive I become, warts and all once this is patched is going to be outstanding, let's all support asobo so they stick around Wayne such Asus Hero Z690, Gigabyte Aorus Master 5080, I914900K, Kraken 360 AIO CPU Cooled, 96 GIGS Corsair DDR5, 32 Inch 4K by 3
August 20, 20205 yr Agreed! And the performance isn't that bad out of the box as some are making it out to be. Captured the below shot while torture testing my machine and tweaking settings. This is a departure out of JFK heading to the city with some horrendous weather I set in the sim. I have a measly I7 6700K OC'd to 4.5 GHZ , 32 GB RAM, 1080TI and running at 4k with custom High settings. This is also with AI turned on. I just played around with the weather and made some snow. The more I get my controls mapped the more fun this is getting! Changing the weather has little to no affect on performance, truly amazing. August 20, 20205 yr Try landing with a 300 kts crosswind in a blizzard with an Icon, interesting to see the physics at work (hmm). I have a feeling their wind modeling still needs an update or two. AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram

August 21, 20205 yr Seems like it's already pretty epic, and will only get epicer. 🙂 Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

August 21, 20205 yr If someone loaded up MSFS on your pc for you in July of 2019, you would have flat out told them that such a thing was impossible. It is epic. It is epic now. What it is not is perfect, and there are parts which tbh are very sub optimal, but the things that this gets wrong, have been things that either have been wrong on flight sims for all time, or things that are only slightly worse than available elsewhere. What this sim gets right, it exceeds in orders of magnitude what has come before.
August 21, 20205 yr I think it's great and I don't understand all the salt. I've been away from sims for awhile but this is SOP in the regular gaming community now. Games are pushed hard out the door and it always takes a few patches to hit a "sweet spot". Edited August 21, 20205 yr by Sky_Dancer
