I just flew with heavy rain preset on the A320 And I saw no rain effect either on the front or on the side Windows, but then I was moving at 340Kts HA HA..when I slowed down to 200 Kts I then started seeing the rain effects on the endges in the front and whloe lot on the side windows.

Yep I agree rain is hard to come by. I see more lightning than rain!

Just stating this not real weather - but pre determined presets lower the cloud layers that will get you rain 🙂 

I find it a shame that the wipers on airliners do not affect the windshields. To put it simply: the wipers don't wipe! 😕

I flew around Sydney yesterday and went though a proper storm, wind, rain, lightening the lot.  Couple of flights in the area and the same in both.  First time I've seen weather that realistic in MSFS.
