August 24, 20205 yr I hope this helps. Made a quick video showing the look of locking MSFS2020 to 30fps and using a tv to upsample it to 120fps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5HJq2J37eI
August 24, 20205 yr Wow, this looks really smooth. Compared to a even more high end graphic card, a 120 Hz TV looks like a deal!

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.
August 24, 20205 yr So this is actually live. This is really cool. Are there any monitors with this functionality? Edited August 24, 20205 yr by flightsim1818
August 24, 20205 yr Frame interpolation works of course, but with 3/4 interpolated frames you have an input lag increased by at least 100 ms (+ the intrinsic contribution of the TV). This may still be acceptable for a slow pace flight simulation but it's far from ideal. We need a fix for the cockpit screens, hopefully with the first patch. 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

But if it really looks like this example? Who needs anything else in FS2020 unless you're in a fighterjet? Who needs to worry about what you are mentioning? Or am I missing something?
August 24, 20205 yr Is there a way for the end user to edit the scenery to remove trees from streets and weird looking 3D objects ?

You interact with the plane and send it commands, push buttons, etc. With frame interpolation and the input lag caused by the TV, basically every response is delayed. It could still be enjoyable for a slow FS of course... 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

The delays normally caused by Vsynch can be greatly minimized by using the Nvidia "Fast Sync" option. The delay caused by video processing Upscale frame interpolation will depend on the TV model, but it was not enough to cause any noticeable yoke input control delay on My samsung Q7 tv.
