In one interview when asked specifically about user modifications of default airplanes they stated that they just worried about licenses and agreements they have in place with manufacturers. Worried, not sure it couldn't be done. So maybe they checked with Airbus when the A320X project emerged and didn't got any claim back. Marco Manieri Perugia - Italy
August 27, 20205 yr According to my question in discord, they are still in talks with Asobo. However, looks to be promising as Asobo CEO liked a tweet about the project from FlightSim news twitter account, so yeah fingers crossed 🤞 Edited August 27, 20205 yr by omarsmak30 AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

August 27, 20205 yr Author If Asobo take on board these community improvements and work with them, it just shows to me all the more how they are in the right mindset for this flight simulator. Fingers crossed! P3Dv4 + XP11 MFS

So it seems that Asobo hasn't given their full blessings to the project yet. Well, I hope they do. We as a community should let Asobo know that we are excited about community projects like this. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
August 27, 20205 yr Commercial Member I think this is great to hear about Asobo working with Freeware developers. This will definitely make this platform much more robust by supporting good freeware developers. I am really encouraged by so much freeware development taking place and we are only a little over a week since release. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations

I included a link to my community folder location. It is located in my Steam drive (F) under SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/MicrosoftFlightSimulator/Packages/Community. I also checked under the appdata/roaming folder in my C drive and it doesn't have a Community folder under Packages. If someone can please help me, it would be greatly appreciated! I don't have an option of attaching files from my computer so that's why I have the link to the screenshot. So in addition to the link to the screenshot of my Community folder location above, I have a link to the windows console output from the dev menu in MSFS. There's a lot of stuff going on in there, and I don't profess to be the smartest guy when it comes to coding and stuff, but it looks like the program is rejecting the file or something. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZsWfMPYTpJlvRHUQtdIukrTIV2PdYpGmpM41I6kr4KY/edit?usp=sharing If somebody can look at that and let me know what is going on, it would also be greatly appreciated!
August 27, 20205 yr Anyone trying the development build? It has IRS switches/alignment, seat belt/smoking signs and engine power seems to be better managed! Edited August 27, 20205 yr by UKflyer

Its on GitHub... if you select the master drop down top left, then view all branches, click on 'dev-0.1.1' then download zip file. The filename should be called 'msfs-a320neo-dev-0.1.1.zip'. These guys are amazing!

I remembered seeing that one on Squirrel's YT video after going through multiple retries of doing the regular one. Cheers, mate!

August 28, 20205 yr Not sure if that has been posted yet: TLDW: Seems like the performenace of the A320 is actually OK! What appears to be a problem is the Flight Director / FMC indicating a wrong pitch attitude at takeoff / climb out. Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved
August 29, 20205 yr latest development build has sounds and ECAM messages for the seat belt and smoking signs 😎 I can't seem to find a changelog for the dev version, does anybody know where this might be? https://github.com/wpine215/msfs-a320neo/tree/dev-0.1.1
