July 26, 20214 yr At present, the AI traffic engine in MSFS is incomplete when compared to even FSX. This has prevented apps like VOXATC and AIG FM from progressing any further than developer alpha versions. When the MSFS SDK AI traffic functionality is brought up to the level of that found in P3d5, beta testing of VOXATC for MSFS will be possible. I agree that it is a shame that there is no version of VOXATC for MSFS, as two of the three weakest features of MSFS are its ATC and it AI traffic.
July 26, 20214 yr Well I mostly fly vfr, and with the JF piper arrow, I think msfs is the best currently available for that.
Paul Sleight
October 5, 20214 yr I miss VOXATC so much I just reinstalled FSX and a few aircraft so I could have the experience, again. It hurt my eyes but was wonderful to my ears. VOX wasn’t (isn’t) perfect but its streamlined integration and linear presentation (here, say this and we’ll get on with things) make it a joy to use. It may be a bit to scripted but then a good flight plan well executed and without incident should run like a script, anyways. Please, bring it back for MSFS. Please.
October 5, 20214 yr Asobo doesn’t seem to be in any hurry to fix AI traffic in MSFS. In my opinion, this feature gets worse with each update of the sim.
October 25, 20214 yr Yes I too hope VOX keeps going, I have always used it from the start of my sim journey, it’s an excellent program with huge/huge potential beyond what it already is. I like how it handles the SID/STARs the most, makes for a little more immersion I think.

Indeed it is ....... apart from having the "free" TTS one can now resource from W10 to compliment my payware TTS of years past, I am looking forward to improvements to its AI spawn using the extra data being included in the new dedicated airac. & I also look forward to the improved weather reads directly from AS. All of this above will be seen in P3D soonish & perhaps next decade in MSFS. for now, cheers john martin
December 28, 20223 yr Well I'm still hoping vox atc are developing for msfs, but to date I still haven't seen anything about it on there news feed, very disappointing.
Paul Sleight

June 24, 20232 yr I believe VOX ATC is very close to being ready for msfs now, can't wait.
Paul Sleight

June 25, 20232 yr Brilliant news. Been patiently waiting. Can I ask if it works similar to the previous versions i.e comms panel and if so is the comms panel visible within a VR environment. Thanks in advance, will understand if not able to release that information yet.

There is a Comms panel, which is implemented into a standard msfs panel window, rather than how it was done in P3D. I don't use VR so can't tell you whether those msfs panels are visible in a VR environment, but if they work natively, so I would expect should Vox. If anyone wants to lend me a set of VR goggles I'll test for you 😛 Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
