Any plans for an FS2020 version?

but then again, how do "showcase" the "different" modes VATC emulates

VFR Class D/E ....IFR Class E .. IFR Class B/A, single pilot vs PNF/PF

& it has a procedure name convertor that "knows" the real name of a navaid / airport etc (so not like BATC, PATC etc)

for now, cheers

Chaps, I'll try to do something tonight.

Haven't been able to sim for a while due to personal stuff, so just trying to get everything updated and working this afternoon first.

Will likely just be a quick circuit first somewhere, then we can do something more intricate.

ok all updated and sim working with vox... @davenicoll @vadriver @mikced76

just waiting to see if there's any updates imminent

EDIT: there is some work still ongoing for another update which will address:

a) making AI aircraft move more smoothly

b) updated look to the in sim UI

c) the hub app will have a more modern look and feel; and (perhaps most important for people)

d) there will be some new voice improvements (more on that when all the details have been finalised by @tegoid )

So, functionality will be broadly similar, but anything I post may be superceded by the upcoming update!

Expect any content to be in a new thread in the MSFS forum, as it isn't technically user to user support

To the release candidates with the updates being worked on now...

@kevinfirth thought you were alluding to the "similarities" between sim platforms.

for now, cheers

I think we should all let Kevin get on with it, as he has mentioned previously he has other more pressing life commitments so thank you Kevin for keeping abreast.

he is a passionate flight simmer like ourselves so we need to trust him and he will get something together, I don't feel all the questions aimed at him are helpful.

Let's give the guy some space..

I'm happy to answer what I can.  Spent 3 hours looking at a secondary school for my daughter this evening which pretty much knocked tonight out for anything.  Compared to that the odd question here and there takes no time at all. 🙂

Been there and done that x 2 Kevin so fully understand. A very important decision for your daughter to make and get right.

ok, secondary schools, assessed, sim updated, I started to do a VFR flight this morning just to check everything works A-OK before recording it.

Unfortunately I think I've discovered a bug - am going to troubleshoot this and report if necessary before doing public videos.

OK, I reported the bug, and found a workaround using FSUIPC, so will try to do a vid tomorrow - just a startup, taxi, takeoff and circuit

Great Kevin,

Thank you for doing this and your excellent communication...

This can't come soon enough in my eyes, the default ATC which I use just deteriates with every flight..it's worse than FSX in my opinion..

LOL, recorded a circuit flight, and the video picked up the vox audio, but not my speech or commentary during the flight 😞 Operator error I'm afraid! I used NVidia shadowplay and only had it set up to record in game audio not through the mic as a separate channel....

Have to go around... 😁

Here's the end of the circuit - this gives you at least a preview of the UI (still to be finalised), you can hear the Voxatc controller (but not me unfortunately)

Happy to answer questions, at least this shows Vox for MSFS exists and covers VFR flight (IFR demos later)

NIce!!

Thanks for sharing.

Does the ATC panel work in VR?

Is there a P3Dv6 version is sight as well?

Not sure I don't fly in VR, but as it's a standard MSFS panel it should do I think?

MSFS first, then maybe P3D version of sufficient demand? - not 100% sure on this
