Increasing Ambient Sound Volume

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how you could increase the ambient environmental sounds (wind etc.).  My sliders are on max volume but thought there may be a config file somewhere to be modded

what chaotic beauty said, i have all sliders at 100 cept the engine (50-60),

this way it feels much more immersive, at least for me.

Yep, everything on 80% except for Master and Environment will do. Just up your Volume by 20%, there you go.

Does the overall volume seem low (in comparison to other programs) for everybody else?

Yes, a bit.  I have a volume control on my powered speakers and have it turned up a bit to compensate. It make system notification sounds a bit loud though. 🙂

Edit:  just my three bits worth. 😄

in the windows taskbar in the lower right corner is a volume control for each running program.

same here, I need to go up a few notches in the sim to achieve the same volume I have on other games.
