October 1, 20205 yr Is it just me? All of a sudden (hmmm, a "patch" came out the other day...) I can't fly the Longitude without it just bobbing up and down uncontrollably.

Apparently patch 3 made the 787 a bit better, but introduced new stuff. It also made the Longitude worse by reverting back to bugs from before patch 2. October 1, 20205 yr Author The Longitude is the only aircraft which I found to be half decent. I've never been able to use the 787, 747, A320. Now they've gone and screwed it up too?

October 1, 20205 yr Author I was flying today to see exactly what it does so I could report it. It starts to get twitchy around 8000. By the time it's at 20-30,000. The slightest bit of wind is enough to set it off. Then descending it started bobbing immediately, and did so all the way to the ground, and continued even after levelling out. The only way to stop it was to turn the ap off. I even tried turning it off and then back on. The plane stopped as soon as the ap was off, and started again the second I turned it back on.
October 1, 20205 yr Same dolphing dance wobbling with the TBM930. Currently it is unflyable with autopilot.
October 1, 20205 yr Author This is a real issue, if they've provided these aircraft which are now broken. I submitted a bug report about my findings with the Longitude.

October 1, 20205 yr TBM, CJ4, Longitude all broken on autopilot..Airbus A320 tried for the first time and it's banking suddenly on short-final. I LOVE the sim but I hope they can fix some of these issues soon because it feels like it's less flyable than it was pre-patch!
October 1, 20205 yr Author The TBM is still reasonably usable for me. Still useable but it seems like it's right on the brink of going squirrelly at all times. I'm flying it in another window right now to test, I'm at 20,000 feet. It and the Longitude were about the aircraft I really liked in this sim, and if they can't be fixed, I think I'm going to have to down grade to P3D again.
October 1, 20205 yr Found the CJ4 exhibiting this bobbing behavior in slow(er) flight as well with flaps 15 and gear down SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.
October 1, 20205 yr Welcome to the very frustrated CE 700 Longitude support group. For those of us who have come to realize that the Longitude in MSFS Premium is a dumpster fire and Asobo is not giving us any love. We meet every other day at your local tavern where we order stiff spirts to drown out our disappointment for what could have been and awesome business jet. Unless Microsoft unlocks the .fsarchive files, please scream at them to do this on their forums, then we may have to petition Carenado to remake this airplane to their much higher standards of flight dynamics and avionics fidelity. 🤣

I loved flying the Longitude, it allowed me to go and navigate where I wanted, where the heavies don't
October 1, 20205 yr Found a porpoise AP "workaround" if you can call it that, at least seems to work most of the time. Just hold your stick forward, or back juuuuuust a bit, and it seems like the trim eventually settles down. Funny watching the FD wiggle, maybe this is just me trying to look glass half full, but its kinda been a fun little mini-game trying to settle it down with stick pitch, 🙂 Edited October 1, 20205 yr by willzah
