Known Issues

  • After using Direct-To, the navigation will not always automatically sequence to the next fix and may enter ROL mode. You can re-activate NAV to navigate to the next fix if you encounter this issue.
  • The aircraft is still using the built-in MSFS autopilot (for now). All the existing limitations of that still apply. It does behave a bit better with the various enhancements applied.
  • Some flight plan distances may still be misreported when the approach is activated. Please log an issue if you encounter this with details.
  • Some instances of the autopilot skipping approach waypoints still occur - this is deep in the sim handling of waypoints and is, for now, out of our hands. We will continue to research this.

By the way, there is an issue in github where you can report fuel discrepancies between the simbrief planned fuel and your actual fuel consumption. We will use this data to tweak the simbrief profile, so please log if you happen to track it. Thanks!

Sorry, another quick note. There's a small bug with Simbrief import. We will release a patch for it shortly, but for now, be sure to exclude the departure and arrival procedure from the route before generating your OFP on Simbrief. The procedure transition fixes should be the first and last waypoint, then you'll add your procedures in the FMS (like in the real aircraft).

Nice! I am having some odd behaviour with the new lights. There is flashing in front of the cockpit every once in awhile. Looks like the strobe, nav light and beacon texture. Getting red, green, and white. Quick flashes... very odd. And from external the strobes look odd, like little diamonds. Not very realistic. Landing and Taxi lights look great. Not sure what the deal is, the flashes are too fast to capture on a screenshot.

Just tried it real quick flies great! Wish could understand what is causing the full nose up trim needed. Are you seeing that as well? Can't get airborne without full nose up trim...

Is that possibly your username and not your pilot id? Your pilot ID can be found on the flight planning page. Should be a 6 digit number.

In the demo Youtube video you posted, I think you're the first person to post a Youtube video of the new CYVR airport from FSDreamTeam 😄

i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

spoted bug today, minimums baro/rad can not be set more then 5000. minimums sure need some love we still not have it on PFD

Let me add a few bugs that are already known to the team and are mostly already fixed in the code base, which we will release as 0.5.1 very soon

- SimBrief Import doesnt work when a departure procedure is set in the route. As a workaround for now, remove the departure procedure from your simbrief flight plan.
- DirectTo approach fixes from LEGS page has a few problems we are working on
- The cabin light setting is not remembered correctly

A couple things I noticed....I was flying an arrival, and as it transitioned to the approach the airplane did not follow on nav mode. That may be a MSFS issue. When moving the HDG bug in VOR1 mode, it shows the HDG bug on the MFD, not the PFD... Works fine in FMS mode. The indication for elevator trim is reversed. Trimming down shows it moving towards NU and vice versa. The cabin lights setting does not save. Overall though it is rocking, and quickly becoming an enjoyable airplane. I enjoy flying it. I will let you know if any other bugs crop up.

Edit: This is the only airplane for some reason that does not deice. All systems on, ice builds. I know a few others have seen this too. Not sure if it is the mod or the sim. I will fly the default and see what happens.
