October 30, 20205 yr For me never any problem, I got into the habit of unplugging my controllers and deleting all mods before each update. This was strongly recommended during the first update. It's possible that only Saitek gear (with its brain dead drivers) are affected.

I'm able to start up OK start up with no controllers, after which I can [successfully] plug in my X52 Pro, but as soon as I plug in the rudder pedals, I get the CTD. Adam, that was my case too but I also had the rudder axis, in my case, previuos FSUIPC 7 even went out, mapped, so that was conflicting with this latest patch. Take a look at the folders mentioned in the thread by Thomas. Good luck SN737

October 30, 20205 yr Don't bother with reinstalls. That's not going to work. MSFS just does not work correctly with certain USB devices. We'll just have to wait until Asobo fixes what's wrong with the latest update.
October 30, 20205 yr It was hanging up for me. I removed the GNS530 mod from my Community folder and now it is working again.

Take a look at the folders mentioned in the thread by Thomas. Good luck Yep - that was the saviour! I copied/backed up all those controller sub-folders and examined them. I then deleted what I suspected to be the offending entry (my Saitek rudder pedals) and I got past the CTD. It then allowed me to add and set up the USB pedals (phew!!). None of my other profiles were affected in any way, so no mappings got lost - except for the rudders (which I set up in FSUIPC7 anyway). So ... it was a good fix ... if a little on the nerdy side [LOL!] - even if it will (hopefully) shortly be redundant. My thanks to the original poser of the fix (Thomas?) for getting me up and running when I thought all was lost! Adam. Edited October 31, 20205 yr by Adamski_NZ
