November 12, 200619 yr I officially throw in the towel! I've been one-upped royally! Much needed levity, Good Show!
November 12, 200619 yr Author In keeping with the metaphors...You just need to buy your wife a huge new "home" then she will be able to communicate freely. A new "house" will make all the difference in having a "smooth" relationship. If you can't afford a new pad, remortgage the current house and get another job. Problem solved. I hear the Vista area of town is very nice. Don't forget to get the latest DX10 Heating system for the new house ;) Mike Keigley
November 13, 200619 yr Dear Battered; Yours is not an uncommon problem, although I find it quite interestingto discover that both of our X's share the same name.Small world wot? Come to think of it what suprises me more is that I was having a situation with Ms 9 very similar to yours with Ms X. As a matter of fact she only recently started responding to my advances....this mind you only after moving to the biggest processor intown(at least at the time) But do you suppose she was satisfied with that??? HA! Not lately:-mad Even after purchasing her two new video vehicles.....the XT wasn'tgood enough for her, she wanted a GTO.:-eek ..and lavishing her withexpensive baubles of memory and constant attention she was never reliable. Then my new love entered my life. What can I say, she is a TEN.She even provided me with a seductive preview of things to come BEFOREthe ceremony. This lady looks and behaves better when she first gets up than Ms 9 did after two complete face lifts and gawd only knows how manydollars worth of cosmetics and designer scenery thrown at her overthe years. Now I can't say that I won't miss the ex....we did have some greattimes...its just that my new gal is so much more. Oh sure she's gota few faults...show me one that don't...but nothing I can't live with. She is well....so much more ALIVE, she's younger and better lookingplus her manners are a whole lot better than the ex's when we firstmet. Yep I'm hooked...but what can I say 'cause she's a TEN.:-beerchug Denny Retired Professional Tourist
November 13, 200619 yr What about the kids? Who is taking care of those?...Stelios Stelios Christofides
November 13, 200619 yr Stelios; Not to worry all of my good freeware kids (mostly propliners, but someold time jets too) are moving in with me. Now the only thing we're fighting over is who gets to keep the familyscreenshots. Denny Retired Professional Tourist
November 13, 200619 yr You've also got to consider a man's need for "non-precision approaches".Mrs X would have a slightly newer localiser which may result in less go-arounds. November 13, 200619 yr I've decided to do without all the Mrs's. Ok, I might miss the odd thrill every now and then, nothing more ecstatic than a good approach in the 'cockpit' but now I'm not wasting my time with these godammn ladies and can pursue more fulfilling pastimes! Did some one say flightsimming was good fun?
November 13, 200619 yr Well, I figure we have three choices with our Mrs. X's:1. Give her to somebody else (or sell her if we can find another dummy that would take her, Mine hasn't even taken her coat off yet.)2. Continue to ignore her in the hope that she will either go away, or change her ways?3. Murder might be a consideration!!!I have to confess. I am sneeking back in bed with Mrs. 9 while I consult with counselers to see if there is any hope of conciliation with Mrs.X.Happy Mrs. Hopping:RTH
November 13, 200619 yr One thing I do like about Mrs X is that she doesn't mind if you bring a buddy along to join in the fun now and again ;)I had my buddy Damain (ASv6) come over from Califonia and we turned the visibility down real low and both did several approaches and Mrs X didn't complain once.http://environments.flight1.net/gepro/GEPRO_BANNER_CARL.JPG
November 13, 200619 yr You really have to ask yourself ... Is a 10 that is a needy little pain in the butt who will spend every penny you have just to look the part worth the headaches? Sure she looks perfect when you pull out the picture book, but we all know it's all airbrushed ;)The 9 cooks and cleans and does your laundry, is completely faithfull, enjoys interfacing with all your addons, etc."As real as it gets" ... how fitting ... I'm divorced too.
November 13, 200619 yr Every child acts like it has learn. You should go tell her father, he did a bad job in raising and spoiling her. Maybe he can tell mrs. X to behave in the real world.JohanA LITTLE LESS CONVERSATION, AND A LITTLE MORE ACTION PLEASE
November 13, 200619 yr Oh so you are the one who married her! I slept with her a few nights, got tired of the few new tricks she had to offer and went back to my wife.Good luck! JasonFAA CPL SEL MEL IR CFI-I MEI AGI
