Hehe....I did fly the Mooney this morning in a quick hop to Catalina...did not touch the GPS or AP and she did fine. She hand flies really nice and with a few mins of careful trimming she's pretty rock stable. Its amazing how much "smaller" she is than the 'nanza....Love them both. I wish They'd release a few of their float planes...and of course can't wait for the 'Twotter to come out with all its variants...good times ahead! Gotta wonder if Carenado is delaying the Seneca until the issues are resolved. Wish Carenado would take some time to figure out how get their planes using the default pilots/co-pilots vs the old tech in theirs....just shows me they care little about adding these things most simmer's would love to see...at least they have opening doors....why MS couldn't do that on their GA planes is beyond me. Darryl Was that you over in the T hangar pulling out a Cub? 🙂 Flew in/out of KBUR once on Delta when LAX flights were all booked up. Wish I could have convinced my boss to let me use this airport all the time....I was pretty much done with LAX the time it took my Uber almost 1.5 hours to get to me...all the way around the horseshoe. Then got to sit on the 105, 605, 210 for another 2 hours. The flight from Dallas was shorter than the 20ish mile ride to Duarte. 😞 Love SoCal, but the traffic...just ugh. Ontario was really nice too when I could get a good price on a ticket. Anyway....beautiful area to fly in and I do many KBUR-KAVX flights as its a great short, scenic route when you only have time for a short flight. 😉 Love flying over Manhattan beach and seeing my favorite spotting area(s). One thing LAX has over any airport is variety of airlines/aircraft models (pre-pandemic sadly)....could see a AA CRJ...followed by a KAL 380, then a Lufty 748....it was glorious. Spotting here at DWF is b.o.r.i.n.g. 99% AA, .5% Delta, rest puddle jumpers with the occasional 747, MD11, A300 Freighter.
