Telluride to Castle Lakes

Featured Replies

Mountains are no issue for the turbocharged Mooney.  Everything was going swell until I found how MSFS rendered Castle Lakes private strip....  (I didn't include the landing picture because I didn't want to admit that I crashed my plane haha - in my defense the gravel strip appeared to be a river!)

Anyway this area is super scenic - I recommend a journey around these parts.  KTEX - CD32

Awesome shots Ryan!

Will fly the route soon....there are soooo many good ones I'm just finding, venturing out on my own.

You should try the route I did this morning...think you'll like it. 😉

Great shots Ryan...just curious, why no MS handcrafted Telluride shown? From what I've seen, it's a stunner!

Hehe.  I didn't initially plan on making screenshots....so I just taxied out and departed.  Then (like usual), I was wowed by the mountain scenery and started clicking - it's pretty much an addiction.

Same for me!

The mountains look really nice, Ryan, considering, at times, you're flying pretty close at low altitude, kind of stunt flying....🙂...

Oh Oh...the gravel strip turned out to be a river...(maybe, if you had ventured out with the ICON A5, you could have made it, still...🙂...)...!
