November 13, 20205 yr I was wondering if we could get a list going of airports with mesh issues on the runway. There's nothing worse than flying hours on end only to crash during rollout because the runway is broken like an Earthquake hit it. I'd love to see a proper list, so I know what airports to avoid right now. Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
November 13, 20205 yr Must be lucky i have yet to come across a runway that's that bad it wrecks your aircraft. I have seen some bumps in newly released addons, but these are usually fixed by the devs pretty quick. AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive
November 13, 20205 yr The only broken runway I’ve come across so far was the result of having two versions of the same airport active. i9-13900K @ 5.8Ghz / Asus TUF 4090 OC / 32 GB DDR 5 / Corsair 1000W PS / Pimax Crystal / 2 SATA SSD / 2TB M2 SSD/ DOF Reality H3 motion platform/ Win 11

Hi WestAir, Out of curiosity I just tried taxing down the full length of runway 19L and 10. I did see any runways problems and the plane taxied smoothly. Any chance that you have a freeware/payware version of the airport that's creating a conflict? i9-13900K @ 5.8Ghz / Asus TUF 4090 OC / 32 GB DDR 5 / Corsair 1000W PS / Pimax Crystal / 2 SATA SSD / 2TB M2 SSD/ DOF Reality H3 motion platform/ Win 11
November 13, 20205 yr Author All default. I'm curious if maybe it's a certain graphics setting that causes the discrepancy. I might have to sit in front of a tear and then raise / lower settings to see if I can make them disappear. November 13, 20205 yr There are plenty of them around. Adobo/MS should take care of them https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/runway-tears-awareness/314575/25 ASUS, Intel® Core™ i7-7700K, CPU 4.8GHz, NVIDIA GTX 1080Ti 11GB, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD + 2TB HDD, ASUS 43" PG43UQ Monitor G-SYNC, LG UltraGear 27" GN850 G-SYNC

November 14, 20205 yr KPDX KSEA there are a ton of these in the pacific northwest. I am almost sure it has to do the PC ability to handle the load. If I fly in with a low speed aircraft (ie caravan or less) no issue, however with any of the jets, you will flip on the runway at multiple locations. I have tested this by bringing all of my settings to the lowest and there were not problems, once I start taxing my system, that is when this starts occuring. November 14, 20205 yr Seems there is a problem when landing on Navy airport KNTO Oceana Va. When landing on 23L and trying to turn off to taxiway A after rollout, there is a large invisible wall. Have tried a number of planes which get bounced/blocked. Does not seen to exist at other points along 23L.
November 15, 20205 yr It seems that those runway anomalies can occur at every airport that is located in a photogrammetry area. I personally came across this glitch at KSEA, KJFK and LIRQ. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2
November 16, 20205 yr LIRQ is one of those, I can't keep crash detection on at this state, it would only add to the frustration. R5 3600 - GTX 1070OC - 32GB 3200 - NVME - 3440x1440 160Hz - VR(Quest 2) GarbagePoster™

I've never used crash detection in 40+ years of flight simming. What's the point? I just say "gee-willickers, I crashed". And continue on.
