December 4, 20205 yr Every monitor/system is different, so you really have to just play with it. Small changes make big differences! It usually comes down to a less-than-perfect compromise between brightness outside and a panel that isn’t too dark. I posted one in tips and tricks... there’s a similar one here, so you have some starting points. I don’t think there’s any perfect setting for everyone (maybe not anyone). But one word: floodlights.
