November 27, 20205 yr The lighting is better and acceptable now. Asobo should leave it alone at this point unless they come up with something truly revolutionary. Asobo's time now would be better spent on other more pressing issues. I just did a flight tonight and liked what I saw. November 27, 20205 yr Its a little better for street and city lighting...however they STILL need to tone down the ridiculously bright airport lights! Under my left wing (stage right)....is Boston, 25 miles away! And the airport below me....if I could see the blue taxiway lights at all, it would be barely visible. Show me one real life pic where you can see the warning red runway lights, and any blue taxiway light from that far away! And you can't see the runway lead in lights flashing from 50 miles away and approaching directly perpendicular to the airport! An airport, in real life at night, is mostly a black hole in a city that looks a lot like a lake except for the flashing lights of the aircraft, and maybe the terminal lighting, barely. That is actually a way you can pick out an airport in a city, and of course with the rotating white/green beacon. If they fix this, the night lighting would be great.
