I am just under 300 hours for this pandemic year (2020) as of yesterday, but only 85 hours so far in MSFS. The 2020 hours are the most I have flown since my SunAir VA days in the mid to late 1990's. December 6, 20205 yr I've just completed my first 300 hours in MSFS. That's the official total. I've no idea how many hours I've lost from unlogged flights, just like everyone else. Earlier today, I completed a 9 hour flight, only for the log book to only record a zero second flight starting and finishing at my destination airport.🙄 Very frustrating, but at least I've finally officially reached 300. Yeah I sort of ignore the hours total as some of my longer VFR stick and rudder flights are not recorded at all whereas some long autopilot sessions where I wandered off and got coffee and watched some netflix were recorded. it is not a good record of actual time at the controls.

I fly real time and use a separate timer I have mounted on my yoke. That, and that of my 309 hours now this year 220 have been in FSX/FSX SE and properly logged by those sims. The other 86.5 hours have been logged in the "vicinity" of MSFS.
