December 4, 20205 yr Do your control panel settings go back to default after driver update? AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance 32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card

Can't remember the prompt. I've found unlike in the past there really isn't a need to change too much in NCP anymore. In terms of P3D. There are some good bench studies out there you can google that will show you the power management feature can be left at default now. Only thing I personally change is under resolution to lock my refresh rate to 30hz when running p3d. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Well if you set to 30hz (provided your monitor or tv supports it) you give your cpu/gpu some headroom. You also have to have vsync on to make sure the sim knows. The other benefit is you have less spikes. So you may be able to get 60fps 90% of the time. But if you have dips to 35 periodically, that dip will result in a stutter. So if you know you 100% of the time you can achieve 30 then you will have a smoother experience. Flying airliners i've found I don't have much of a need for higher than 30. The only time I notice it is when panning. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Then change refresh rate there.
