I'd have to see some pictures.  But their are countless other PBR airplanes that don't seem to have as many issues that the 787 has ever since V5.

Not at pc atm but it’s like a film that passes.

For instance  if i pan up and down you can see the film/shader line across the middle of the aircraft. 
I think there was a video on it in a previous post with the 737

What exactly do you want a comment on ?
 
You want a confirmation its compatible with 5.1, the answer is we can't say. Some people are having issues, some people are not.  
 
If we tell you its compatible, you install it and something doesn't work, then you're likely upset at us for telling you its compatible.
 
If we tell you its not compatible, then hear others updated without problems (or you decide to upgrade on your own and have no problems), then you're  likely upset at us because we told you its not compatible.
 
If we say nothing because we can't give you a definitive answer, then you're likely upset at us because we didn't give you an answer.
 
Unfortunately as Matthias Kok at Aerosoft correctly put it, P3D these days is a moving target, its just about impossible for addons to maintain full compatibility with its recent updates.
 
This is why you haven't heard anything from us on 5.1 compatibility.

well I can't say I wouldn't be frustrated also with these kind of changes also.  But then again I look at developers like leonardo.  They are doing a fantastic job adapting to the changes and adding things like an EFB.  

Back to envshade.  Anybody or anywhere have before/after pics?  I haven't run envshade or envtex in 5.1, but am considering putting it back on.

But PMDG basically admits the same thing. PBR Cockpit graphics with EA is a moving target for them as well. So any addon that modifies the graphics are experiencing tough times right now.

Quoting PMDG :

"Due to the constant changing nature of P3D v5.1 and LM's constant tweaking of EA, for us to invest a lot of man-hours updating each PBR material in the product, only for the next update to change or break it is not worth the investment. However, we are actively monitoring the development and will make the necessary adjustment when it warrants it."

I am using it with settings by toga and it looks fantastic apart of what I had mentioned above with the aircraft at night.

I was hoping the update would allow us to reduce the yellow tinge that comes with EA mode but I guess that has nothing to do with shaders. All in all, I can't really tell a difference with Envshade on vs. off in EA.

I was hoping the same about the yellow.

Also, I've CTD'd twice in a row now since using these shaders. Could just be a coincidence. EA still sucks anyway so back to regular EnvShade shaders and EA off for me. Guess we'll see what 5.2 brings in 5 months.

The road night lighting is the show stopper for me on this update. Someone posted pictures on the TOGA/Envshade forum and must say, the roads at night look like rivers of flames. No Thanks!

I ve just landed at bassel airport from fsdt, just the Time to leave the runway and got a dgxi crash, just two second before i tell me how bizarre trees light as fire...and crash!

intresting, Im just enroute now basel aswell , will be intresting to see what happens.

1.do you have a 1080ti,  2080ti or 3080ti ??

2. are you using game ready or studio drivers ?

3.which aircraft did you use ?
