December 4, 20205 yr they are not that packed. And also have different sizes Edited December 4, 20205 yr by sd_flyer Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). December 4, 20205 yr In the real world there are many different sizes of wind turbines. Older farms from the 80s used much smaller turbines. In the sim there is only 1 size, so the denser farms that are smaller sizes in real life are way too close together in sim. It's a nice attempt to show them, but really needed a bit more thought. Last time I checked the turbines really killed my CPU too. Edited December 4, 20205 yr by marsman2020 AMD 3950X | 64GB RAM | AMD 5700XT | CH Fighterstick / Pro Throttle / Pro Pedals
December 4, 20205 yr Wow! Have not been there since the patch....but what else annoys me (have not checked recently but i bet its still a problem....is the red beacons on them you can see from space! Here is what it looked like a few patches ago: It seems pretty clear that in this patch...one of the things they buggered is the scale of some objects. Take a look at the C-5 sized F16s in the boneyard at Tucson....that seriously made me laugh out loud....instantly thought of Jack Jack when I saw them...like this in Incredibles 2: (go to 30 secs if you don't want to watch this whole hilariously funny clip) Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
December 4, 20205 yr Also true, the red beacons at the wind farms near KMHV for example have an around 1s blink on-off routine. AMD 3950X | 64GB RAM | AMD 5700XT | CH Fighterstick / Pro Throttle / Pro Pedals

December 4, 20205 yr Those red light and airports are not visible from far distance. I've been telling it Asobo from alpha testing. Say it isn't so! Because they seem to think so. 🙂 Actually, it got a little better either last patch or last mini-patch....but sill not right....they just need to give us a sub-section in the settings just for night lighting to adjust sliders to how each of us wants ground night lighting to look. One slider for street lights, houses, commercial buildings, every type of airport light, etc....THAT would be cool to have.
