December 8, 20205 yr My msfs has been acting strange for a few days. Marketplace stopped working, Then this morning it wanted a disk inserted to complete start up. Then after multiple tries it took me to the update page which id clicked "update" then it shut the sim down. Now when I try to start it takes me directly to the Microsoft store for a download of something that has no real description. Not happening. Tried to get hold of Microsoft support online who want a credit card before forwarding me on to somewhere else. Finally found a phone number that simply says all support is now online. I'm in Canada...If anyone has a phone number to a real live person at MS i would greatly appreciate it otherwise I am hooped with ever getting this sim working again. If someone else has had a similar experience perhaps you could share it. Many thanks to any and all who respond. Dave
December 8, 20205 yr If the Marketplace or Content Manager doesn't want to load anymore, there could be an issue with an addon in the Community folder. I don't know which one, could be an airport or an addon for aircraft or a livery pack. December 8, 20205 yr Author Doesn't appear to be that. What is really disappointing is being unable to get hold of Microsoft to help sort this out. There is not even an option to redownload (should I blow it all off) but rather there is an offer to sell it to me again on my purchased items page.

December 8, 20205 yr If you are talking today, it is probably asking you to install the HOTFIX released today in the Microsoft store? When you launch the sim, does it state you have a Mandatory Update? That bit is happening for everyone there is an update today as In2tech says, and you need to download it via the Microsoft Store.
