New liveries, eh? Remember, we were promised liveries as a thank you, not just for testers. Perhaps this is the beginnings of those being rolled out. I don't appear to have got that download yet.

OS:     Win11 Home; Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU: Intel i5-12400 (Alder Lake) 4.4 GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 64Gb (4x16GB) 3600 MHz; GPU:  MSI Radeon RX 5700XT [8GB]
SSD:  Corsair Force MP510 (for OS);  2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)
HDD:  Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet

Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

Those ones looked different from these. They're supposed to be white, not black.

One of the Discord mods is specifically asking if anyone who wasn't a Beta/Alpha tester got them, so I think these ones are specifically for the A/B testers.

I imagine if these work fine then the other ones will go out for everyone.

I just did update... Definitely liveries 1.24G of them, each plane (Deluxe for me.)   But also,  I always press start menu before update and go to Microsoft store app and the update today was for Mixed Reality Port for VR.

Don't see the connection but they you are.

YMMV

Yes they do, but then if they are described as 'test' perhaps they are just markers for the real thing. Maybe they are even a test for real world liveries (wishful thinking I suppose)?

They also said the Alpha/Beta testers would get their own liveries in one of the first post-release Q&A stream. That's what these probably are. So far I've only seen fellow testers get the update.

I also got the Deluxe/premium liveries even though I'm a standard edition player.

Were you an Alpha/Beta tester?

I had a contents update upon startup as well. Moreover I got an number of "testpilot" versions for several (all?) Asobo planes via the contents manager. However, I didn't login for a week or so (just workload), thus these might be old news, though.

Made a normal flight with my trusted C172 and didn't notice any change, neither to the better nor to the worse.

Kind regards, Michael

They just appeared today and they're just liveries. Nothing else was touched/added by the patch.

Ok, I missed that announcement. I'm not particularly bothered about getting them either way. It's real world liveries I'd end up using, and I'm more interested in eventually seeing all the AI aircraft in official liveries, particularly without the odd reversed image issue we have on one side of the freeware liveries.

They'd need to update the model/UV map first to fix that. I hope they will eventually.

All the liveries here also come with new models in their folders, I wonder if the 747 isn't mirrored anymore.

Edit: They're just LOD models.

Yeah so far it seems only the testers have gotten this update.

Thanks to this thread, I decided to look through the content only to find a bunch of Japan mods that needed updating.

If I never fly over there is there any other reason I should select and install that feature?

AIDARS isn't aligning in the A320 post the update for me, I'm off to jump off the roof. Kidding, I'm going to troubleshoot this and throw many f bombs in the process.

They're there, they're just not showing up in the sim. The config files are encrypted similar to how Marketplace items are. They might have messed up permissions.

Well the update didn't touch any files outside of the new liveries.
