I'm sure they will still find a way to "Break" something!

No. That makes no logical sense.

The 22nd December update will probably be quite hefty. It's supposed to include VR as well as functionality required for the Aerosoft CRJ (and probably more). I am also looking forward to it with mixed feelings as I expect we'll have to stay with the post-patch state for quite some time.

On the other hand, there are some even more serious issues this X-mas.

Kind regards, Michael

It was only for Alpha/Beta testers.

Where have you been...?

Patch update logic went out the window a long time ago with this sim!

Except I looked at all the files that were added/modified in this patch and it was only the liveries, nothing else was touched.

So no. And the patch only went out to the Alpha/Beta testers.

FBW is making their own autopilot and I think the wait will be worth it.

I agree Michael, the update on the 22nd has the potential to be a great day for us or a disaster of a Christmas present, please don't mess this up Asobo.

Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle. Thrustmaster TPR Pedals. Moza AB6 FFB Joystick, Pimax Crystal Light VR, Tobii Eye tracker, Steelseries Arctis 7+ Wireless Headphones.

Yeah, I don't think it's a good idea to release a big patch just a few days before Christmas. I sincerely hope they are prepared for a quick hotfix in case something goes horribly wrong.

Besides VR we are getting two A320neo tutorials, and general improvements to the A320neo and Longitude. Enough to break several aircraft.

I seem to have missed the part on the tutorials. Do you know if these will be written tutorials or flyable training lessons?

Apparently it was mentioned by Martial in the latest Developer Q&A, I had missed that too. This is what Jayne says in the forums, she was not more specific.

Martial mentioned Sim Update 2 will include VR and a heavier focus on airliners including 2 new tutorials for the A320.

Obvious they do not celebrate the USA Thanksgiving.  Hope Christmas is different.  They do believe in that, right????
