December 30, 20205 yr Yes Ryan, and the night lighting looks superb - really atmospheric. I will try it, but I was hoping he would standarise his modellib.bgl, as it can cause problems with other scenery if he doesn't apparently. Looking at his last post on flightsim.to he seems to have dismissed the idea unfortunately. Now at version 1.1 though already. December 30, 20205 yr Sergio Del Rosso (sdr), its author, has many excellent and countless freeware sceneries posted at Flightsim.to. Look for them, they're like art work. December 30, 20205 yr It wont generally cause any issues, just use the linker app and don't run it all the time. Edit I just noticed he is the same individual that did St Moritz, yah in my book he's # 1 on the site for texturing, at least in certain aspects, there are some other good people too. However, the one weakness many of the freeware designers have is texturing (but they are good at modeling), but he is good at both. Just looking at his latest response at flightsim.to, he is now considering making the modellib.bgl path changes. I just noticed that some of his houses on the outskirts have a blue pulsing light effect in some of the windows, like people watching television inside. Is this his effect or is it built into MSFS? They tend to go dark as you advance the clock to the early hours of the morning and people go to bed, just like the standard yellow/white window lights. I love some of these little features built into the sim. Edited December 31, 20205 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). December 31, 20205 yr Mister Del Rosso is a seriously talented guy. Lots of great airports on his list already. // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

I love some of these little features built into the sim. He used the night lighting and strobe probably, not really built-in but it is "supported" by MSFS. I didn't look but there are 2 things people do in MSFS, one is the parallax effect like what RomanDesign did in his Canada airports in the window. You produce a 2D image over the front of the window to represent the 3D, and you offset it slightly so that you can see into the building clearly with the windows. It's a common thing people have been doing in MSFS. The other is lighting stuff by setting lights to only appear at night, which is standard night lighting feature of MSFS. You have to decide what kind of light, whether it be a strobe, point, sun, etc... Edited December 31, 20205 yr by Alpine Scenery AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram

I like the flashing red beacon he has off to the side of the runway as well; I have never seen that before. Is it a DME beacon or something like that? By the way, thanks for your own contribution over at flightsim.to regarding the scenery glitches etc. 👍 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). December 31, 20205 yr This has just been updated again with more detail, plus the .bgl fix. Awesome scenery! I can't recommend it enough. I have payware airports that are no match for this. I'm going to send him a drink for the New Year! PS. We love VFR for Europe has also just been updated over at flightsim.to - superb! Radar stations and cranes added to the masts / aerials as well now. https://flightsim.to/file/2605/we-love-vfr-region-1 I just can't keep up!
