I recall when I initially set it up that there was an issue with a faint brown tin to sceneries, & I think one of the payware? add ons had a tick box to remove that tint. Has the tint issue been resolved & if not can anyone recall the product that allowed it to be removed? I think it was possibly a shaders or environment appearance product. T45 Triplmon is the expert in this, see https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/148753-viewrendering-distance-problem/ There's some newer stuff to. January 1, 20215 yr I'm a new X-Plane user. I was exclusively FS2004 for years. I was fortunate to get a new beast of a PC before Christmas, mainly to use MSFS. But, I picked up X-Plane and am enjoying the heck out of it. As much as I enjoy (love) FS9, X-Plane is such a huge leap, and I cant recommend it enough. I also have FSX but have never really liked the way it runs. My new rig handles it fine, but it only gets used on occasion for certain freeware planes. I'm currently enjoying X-Plane and FS9 until I feel like people are overall happy with MSFS(if that's possible)before I join the fray over there. I did try it out on my sons PC thru the Xbox game pass thingy, and loved what it brought to the table, but I can wait for it to get a bit more polished.
January 1, 20215 yr I had FS 2004 also. i tried X Plane 9 and wasn't too keen at first. Little did i know at the time it would advance.I skipped X Plane 10 and waited for the 11 version. What a difference. There is rumor about X Plane 12 in the works, so sit back and enjoy the ride. HAPPY FLYING.!!!!!

January 1, 20215 yr I think Laminar may want to test a few things before XP12. And 11 is going to be that test bed, thats why there may well be better things to come.
February 20, 20215 yr You're on an X-Plane forum. Really, what do you think the answer is going to be? ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,
